Armed guards have saved a Greek tanker from pirates during a weekend attack in the Somali Basin.
Seaworld Management & Trading's 107,500-dwt Sea Voyager (built 2009) was set upon around 350 miles from the Somali coast on Sunday, TradeWinds is told.
Armed pirates in two skiffs attacked the tanker and were seen to be readying to fire at the ship.
