CMA CGM will introduce an Equipment Surcharge for reefer cargo shipped from Antwerp and Rotterdam to selected destinations worldwide.
The surcharge will apply from 1 August 2026, based on the loading date at the origin port. It will remain in effect until further notice.
For reefer shipments from Antwerp, CMA CGM will apply a prepaid surcharge of US$500 per container.
The surcharge will cover destinations worldwide, excluding West Africa, East Africa, the United States and its territories, Australia, New Zealand, the Leeward and Windward Islands, ECCA, the Caribbean, the French West Indies, French Guiana, Guyana and North Brazil.
For shipments from Rotterdam, the carrier will charge US$600 per reefer container. The same destination exclusions will apply, and the surcharge must also be prepaid.

| Antwerp, Belgium | Reefer | US$500 per container | Prepaid |
| Rotterdam, Netherlands | Reefer | US$600 per container | Prepaid |
CMA CGM said the measure forms part of its efforts to maintain reliable and efficient services for refrigerated cargo.
