European service updates: Sidra suspends Havana link as DFDS expands Norway coverage
Two European liner service changes have emerged, with Sidra Line no longer advertising its Havana Med Service and DFDS expanding its weekly Belgium-UK-Norway connection, according to DynaLiners.
Sidra Line suspends Havana Med Service
Sidra Line no longer advertises its Havana Med Service (HMS), which was launched in August 2025.
According to DynaLiners, the service initially covered various ports in the Mediterranean basin. However, it was ultimately concentrated on Türkiye and operated at an approximately monthly frequency.
DFDS adds Drammen to Belgium-UK-Norway link
Meanwhile, DFDS will add Drammen to its weekly service connecting Belgium, the United Kingdom and Norway.
According to DynaLiners, the service is operated by a single container-Ro/Ro vessel with a capacity of 296 TEU, in addition to trailers and heavy cargo.
The enhanced rotation will be:
Zeebrugge – Immingham – Drammen – Fredrikstad – Halden – Zeebrugge.
