SITC Logistics sets depot priorities at 2026 annual meeting

SITC Logistics held its 2026 Depot Annual Meeting in Shanghai on 13 August.

The meeting brought together SITC Chairman Yang Xianxiang, SITC CEO Xue Mingyuan and SITC Logistics President Lai Zhiyong. Representatives from the company’s depots and other SITC Logistics units also attended.

Focus on sustainable depot growth

Yang encouraged the depots to combine healthy competition with mutual support. He also called on them to share knowledge, address operational challenges and maintain positive annual growth.

Meanwhile, Xue recognised the performance of SITC Logistics’ depots during the first half of 2026. He asked each depot company to pursue growth in both quality and scale.

Xue also highlighted the importance of selecting and developing talent. In addition, he called for stronger centralised management of marketing, cost control and operational efficiency.

SITC outlines operational priorities

The meeting established the next objectives for SITC Logistics’ depot operations.

Key priorities include:

  • More detailed efficiency measurements
  • Stronger safety management
  • Digitalisation of depot systems
  • Unified financial and administrative policies
  • Development of innovative inland container depots

SITC Line’s Equipment Control Center also attended the meeting. The centre outlined management requirements for coordination between the depots and SITC Line.
