ANL adjusts Pacific Islands bunker surcharges from October
ANL will revise its Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) across several Pacific Islands trades from 1 October 2026.
The carrier said the changes reflect fuel price movements during the previous period.
New Zealand-Pacific Islands trades
For shipments between New Zealand and Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa and Fiji, the new BAF will be US$217 per TEU for dry cargo.
Reefer cargo will face a higher charge of US$325.50 per TEU.
The same rates will apply on return shipments to New Zealand.
Australia-Pacific Islands trades
ANL will apply a BAF of US$619 per TEU for dry cargo moving between Australia and Tonga, Samoa and American Samoa.
For reefer cargo, the surcharge will be US$927 per TEU.
The rates also apply on return shipments to Australia.
Inter-island rates also revised
For inter-island shipments between Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa and Fiji, the BAF will be US$336 per TEU for dry cargo.
Reefer shipments will be charged US$504 per TEU.
ANL, part of the CMA CGM Group, said the revised BAF will apply to all shipments loaded on or after 1 October 2026.
