Everllence strengthens scrubber lifecycle support

Everllence PrimeServ Omnicare and ME Production, a leading scrubber specialist, have entered into a strategic cooperation to strengthen lifecycle support for Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems, helping vessel operators plan and execute scrubber maintenance more effectively during scheduled drydockings.

As scrubbers have become essential equipment for vessels operating on high-sulphur fuel, operators increasingly face challenges related to component wear, system reliability, evolving regulatory requirements and defining appropriate maintenance scope ahead of drydocking.

The partnership addresses these challenges by providing condition assessments, maintenance planning, repair recommendations and execution support throughout the drydocking process, enabling operators to identify and address maintenance needs while vessels are already out of service rather than discovering issues afterwards.

Kim Pedersen, Chief Commercial Officer at ME Production, described the combination of ME Production’s scrubber expertise with Everllence PrimeServ’s global service network and structured pre-docking planning as enabling the high-quality support needed to ensure vessels leave the shipyard with reliable scrubber systems meeting current standards and incorporating the latest technologies and best practices.

Thomas Andreassen, Global Business Development Manager for Omnicare at Everllence PrimeServ, framed the objective straightforwardly as defining the correct maintenance scope before docking begins and executing it correctly, improving reliability, reducing operational risk and helping customers avoid unnecessary costs from follow-up repairs after vessels return to service.
