CMA CGM raises Asia to Latin America rates by USD 1,000 per container

CMA CGM will increase freight rates from Asia to Latin America by US$1,000 per container.

The increase will apply from 15 October 2026, based on the cargo’s loading date.

The origin scope covers all Asian ports, including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh.

The destination scope includes:

• West Coast South America
• East Coast South America
• West Coast Central America
• East Coast Central America
• Caribbean
• Mexico

The increase applies to dry, reefer and out-of-gauge cargo, as well as paying empty containers.
