Patrick Terminals and OneStop will launch the OptiBook container management platform at the Sydney AutoStrad Terminal on 28 November 2026, introducing a new booking system designed to improve container visibility and landside operations.

The platform integrates with the OneStop Vehicle Booking System and provides transport operators with information on container status, availability and timeslot bookings. It also connects with the OneStop Deliver App, allowing users to access booking and manifest information in real time.

According to the companies, OptiBook aims to simplify the booking process while improving transparency across the landside supply chain. The system was developed in consultation with transport operators, incorporating industry feedback into its functionality.

To prepare operators for the transition, Patrick Terminals and OneStop held an OptiBook Carrier Engagement Forum on 28 October. The session introduced the platform’s main features and outlined the changes ahead of its launch.

OneStop has also scheduled two online training sessions for transport operators on 17 and 26 November. The company will provide registration details, supporting documentation and instructions for using the OneStop Deliver App ahead of implementation.

“With all major terminals on one booking system, we can give transport operators and their systems a single, connected way to book, and that’s the foundation for much of what we’re building next,” said Chris Harnett, Chief Commercial Officer of OneStop.

Bruce Guy, Terminal Manager at Patrick Terminals – Sydney AutoStrad, said the transition would provide a booking system capable of supporting the terminal’s operations over the longer term.

“OptiBook gives Sydney AutoStrad a fully supported booking system for the long term, while maintaining the efficiencies our customers rely on today,” said Guy.

The Sydney rollout follows the planned introduction of OptiBook at Patrick Terminals Brisbane and forms part of the company’s broader adoption of digital container management solutions. Container News previously reported on Patrick Terminals’ plans to introduce the container management platform as part of its efforts to improve landside operations.

The upcoming launch will further consolidate container booking processes across major terminals using the OneStop platform.
