Greece-based and New York-listed Diana Shipping, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a time charter contract with Fednav International Ltd. for one of its ultramax dry bulk vessels, the DSI Pegasus.
Fednav International hired the 60,508-dwt ultramax dry bulk vessel built in 2015.
The vessel is chartered for a gross charter rate of $18,350 per day, minus a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a period until minimum August 15, 2027, up to maximum October 15, 2027.
The charter is expected to begin on July 27, 2026.
The vessel is currently chartered to Cargill Ocean Transportation (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. at a gross charter rate of $14,250 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties.
The employment of DSI Pegasus is anticipated to generate a total of around $6.95m of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
