Akkon Lines launches Türkiye-Jeddah service

Akkon Lines has launched the Jeddah Express Service (JXS), establishing a direct container shipping connection between Türkiye and the Saudi Arabian port of Jeddah.

The service deploys two vessels with a capacity of around 2,000 TEU each. It will offer one sailing every ten days.

The JXS rotation is: Izmit (Safiport), Gemlik, Istanbul (Ambarli), Izmir, Jeddah and back to Izmit.

The new service strengthens Akkon Lines’ connectivity between its home market in Türkiye and Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast.
