CMA CGM announces additional RRI from Canada West Coast

CMA CGM will introduce a Rate Restoration Initiative from Canada’s west coast to the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East Gulf and the Red Sea.

The RRI02 will take effect on 30 August 2026 and will apply in addition to the carrier’s previous Rate Restoration Initiative.

For dry cargo moving from Canada’s west coast to the Indian Subcontinent, CMA CGM will charge US$150 per 20-foot container and US$300 per 40-foot or 45-foot container.

For dry cargo moving from Canada’s west coast to the Middle East Gulf and Red Sea, the carrier will charge US$300 per 20-foot container and US$600 per 40-foot or 45-foot container.

The new charges will not apply to special equipment.
