Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America appoints Rafael Reis as VP Operations

Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America has appointed Rafael Reis as Vice President Operations.

Reis will lead the company’s regional operational strategy, with a focus on operational excellence.

He brings experience from the port and logistics sectors across Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica and Panama.

Before joining Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America, Reis served as Head of Planning Center for seven APM Terminals facilities across the region. In that role, he led planning processes and operational efficiency initiatives.

Reis holds a bachelor’s degree in law from UNIVALI and a logistics degree from Brazil’s International School of Technology.

He has also completed international specialisations in terminal operations and finance. In addition, he holds Green Belt and Lean certifications.

“His experience and industry knowledge will be a valuable contribution to further strengthening our operations, with a focus on standardisation, process improvements and the implementation of technologies that support the growth of our businesses while continuing to deliver world-class solutions across the region,” said Rodrigo Galleguillos, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America.
