CMA CGM Short Sea Lines (SSL) Intra Europe will adjust its Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) on the RoRo South service connecting France and Tunisia.

The revised surcharge will take effect on 1 October 2026 and will apply to both import and export cargo.

New BAF levels from October

Under the new structure, the BAF for full rolling units will be €718 per unit.

Empty rolling units will face a charge of €475 per unit, while other rolling equipment will be charged €80 per linear metre.

The category includes trucks, earth-moving equipment, tracked or wheeled machinery, agricultural equipment and livestock trucks.

Passenger cars and minivans will face a BAF of €273 per unit.

For breakbulk cargo, the surcharge will be €44 per cubic metre.

CMA CGM said the adjustment follows changes in bunker prices since its previous surcharge revision.

The new BAF levels will apply to the carrier’s RoRo service connecting France with Tunisia from 1 October.
