Port of Antwerp-Bruges has published its 2027 tariff adjustments covering both the Antwerp and Bruges-Zeebrugge port areas, with changes affecting vessel dues, environmental incentives, cruise ship charges, waste fees and concession tariffs.

Towage tariffs in the Antwerp docks will increase by 3.57%, while Zeebrugge platform towage dues are indexed in accordance with contractual agreements with Boluda at 2.65%.

Across both port areas, the reduction on tonnage dues for double calls, covering consecutive calls at Antwerp and Zeebrugge, has been increased from 10 to 20%.

The Environmental Ship Index discount mechanism has been reformed and standardised, abolishing the existing year-of-construction restriction in Antwerp and the minimum discount in Zeebrugge, with ESI scores from 45 to 70 attracting a 10% discount and scores above 70 up to 100 attracting a 15% discount.

Harmonised reductions across both areas will apply to calls solely for bunkering for own use at 50 percent, bunker vessels at 75%, repairs or dry dock at 50%, empty-handed calls or degassing at 50%, crew changes at 50% and transit at EUR 0.4941 per GT.

In the Antwerp port area, berthing dues for vehicles will be aligned with Zeebrugge tariffs from January 1, 2027 at EUR 0.1830 per tonne.

In the Bruges-Zeebrugge port area, the permitted duration of stay is extended from 14 to 20 days in line with Antwerp, a fee of EUR 150 per hour is introduced for use of the RoRo bridge at quay 113, and drinking water fees are adjusted.

Automotive tariffs continue phased GT adjustment with liner trade at EUR 0.1307 per GT and non-liner trade at EUR 0.2883 per GT from 2027. The maximum GT charged for containers increases from 175,000 to 200,000 GT.

For cruise ships, new tariffs applicable from January 1, 2028 introduce a greening charge of EUR 4,000 per call, EUR 6,000 for first connection, a per-passenger greening charge of EUR 1.50, electricity consumption at EUR 0.31 per kWh and a EUR 1,000 discount per call when a vessel actually connects to shore power.

Waste fees are adjusted at both locations from January 1, 2027.

In Antwerp, the fixed fee will be EUR 400 per ship with a variable fee of EUR 0.027 per GT and a maximum of EUR 1,750. In Zeebrugge, the fixed fee will be EUR 150 per ship with a variable fee of EUR 0.011 per GT and a maximum of EUR 900.

Concession tariffs will be indexed at 3.97 percent in line with the Consumer Price Index for August 2026. A new tariff of EUR 25.99 per square metre per year is introduced for battery energy storage system activities on concession land.

From January 1, 2027, two additional fees will apply to reefer containers at the border inspection post on the left bank, covering use of the reefer monitoring system at EUR 9 per container per calendar day and out-of-hours repairs at EUR 1,000 per intervention for up to three hours.
